Who is this course suitable for?
This course is designed for anyone who wishes to learn sufficient knowledge and expertise to save and support life in the event of an accident or sudden illness. This course is ideal where an employer’s assessment of first aid needs identifies that a fully qualified* First Aider as set out by HSE standards is not necessary. This courses fulfills the minimum
HSE requirements to appoint a person to take charge of first aid arrangements. It is also suitable for anyone who wishes to know the basics of first aid so they may render basic aid to friends or family in an emergency.

Shock, Control of Bleeding

Additional Information
In accordance with HSE guidelines this course must last a minimum of 4 hours. This is the minimum and we recommend that the course be run for a full day including practical assessment, especially if more than 8 people are on the course. On completion of the course and a short practical assessment you will gain a certificate, which is valid for 3 years
Course Costs
The course costs £10 per person with a minimum number of 5 persons and a maximum number of 12 persons. This price remains the same whether the course is run for 4 hours or a full day.
